Happy Emergence Day! Unfortunately, Gears of War broke our Xbox 360...Again! But that's okay, because Guitar Hero II actually works with our HDTV - even if it won't work with a PS3. Microsoft is adding TV and movies to the Xbox Live Marketplace - what's the catch? And how well does the HD-DVD player work anyway? We relate our PS2 launch story and how the last launch wasn't as rosy as people remember, and then talk about how the Japanese PS3 launch wasn't as rosy as Sony makes it out to be. Who...

But it doesn't really matter - Final Fantasy XII is here and, even though it's a PS2 game, it's awesome. And you know what, it really is a great time to be a gamer right now, even if sometimes we're overly critical. Strickland v. Sony heats up in a Fayette, Alabama courtroom, and will decide if video games really do force you to kill policemen. Warren Spector makes some comments about Rockstar, which might get him called in to testify against the video game industry. We also give a heads up to Delaware residents about upcoming legislation. The Xbox 360 has many similarities with the Dreamcast, but even though Oblivion was delayed and Microsoft is forcing a shortage of consoles, the launch still looks on...

We visited the Best Buy in Alpharetta, Georgia for their midnight launch and interviewed store managers, people standing in line, and even one of the DJ's from the local alternative radio station 99x. Bobby Blackwolf got a core system, and describes what life is like without a hard drive, and the amazing amount of things you can do without one. Also, you can learn how to play this very podcast on your Xbox 360 while playing ANY game! Good thing Microsoft is losing money on each Premium system...

We had some of AGI's Mad Bugginess with an audio cable, so there's a slight buzz underneath the whole show - that WILL be fixed before the next episode! Burnout Revenge feels like a game you might have played before...Find out why your friends DON'T have to spam you for 10 measly gamerpoints! An independant game sells well despite the fact there is no DRM copy protection - which upsets a Russian DRM copy protection maker to the point of promoting piracy. Tonight, we have our final interview from PAX'07 - Jeremy Zoss from Destineer Studios to discuss Indianapolis 500 Racing, Word Jong, John Deere: Harvest in the Heartland, Homie Rollerz, and games based on Full Metal Alchemist. We issue a correction on our Halo 3 statements from last week, just to make sure that you knew we were wrong. Rock Band demo units are currently in Best Buy - except ours, due to a new Elite doing old 360 tricks. We dip deep into the Manhunt 2 hacking debacle, and give...

Con season is finally over - we reminisce about PAX and Dragon*con. This week's interview is with Adam Carpenter, lead designer for Fury, where you can get your PvP on in a big money tournament this month. While at PAX, we took a look at Halo ActionClix from Wizkids. We also saw King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters and, while it may be inaccurate, it's still a very well-made film. The show was taped on the birthday of the Dreamcast, and we look back at 9-9-99 and then look to the sad present....

It's the show that's called "Not Quite Episode 100!" We continue our lovefest for Forza 2 with new pics and new specs for fair cars to use in community races. There was a "major announcement" revealed at the Pac-Man World Championships and The Internets were stunned that it was related to Pac-Man - we talk about Pac-Man Championship Edition and what we like and don't like about it. We begin the show by reminiscing about the horrendus steps we went through to get Wing Commander to work on our old DOS machine. Remember AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS? We do! Coming back to 2007, we talk about Pinball FX and Puzzle Quest for the PSP - however we're prepared to get shafted in both titles in the future. Another guy who got the shaft was good ol' Ken Kutaragi, stepping down from his post at Sony - but another company has publically stated that they'd love to have him on their team!...
